This document addresses non-invasive measurement of left ventricular end diastolic pressure in the outpatient setting. Left ventricular end diastolic pressure (LVEDP) is elevated in the setting of congestive heart failure, and its measurement may be useful in the management of individuals with heart failure. The VeriCor® device is an example of a device for the non-invasive measurement of LVEDP.
