Review handoffs, in-app plan changes, and HL7 workflows
Teams can now send workflow work into review and resume it later, change plans from settings, estimate workflow usage as they build, and create and send HL7 messages with clearer setup guidance.
Resume workflows after review
Workflows can now hand work off for review and continue later in a linked follow-up workflow. You can add a Send to Review step, then use a Form trigger in the resumption workflow to pick the review handoff back up. The first supported handoff type is split review. If your team creates a handoff before the related review screen is available, that handoff will stay waiting for review until the screen is live.
Change plans without leaving the app
Organization admins can now schedule a plan change directly in settings. The new plan starts at the next billing period, with no immediate charge when you schedule the change, and you can cancel a pending change before it begins. Organizations that are billed by invoice now see that status more clearly, and self-serve plan choices are hidden when they do not apply.
See usage impact while building workflows
The workflow builder now shows an estimated monthly action count based on recent workflow runs or, when there is no run history yet, the workflow schedule. You can open the estimate for a step-by-step breakdown, and it updates as you edit the workflow graph. Empty workflows show nothing, and workflows made up only of free steps show 0.
Build and send HL7 messages in workflows
Workflows can now build HL7 v2 messages and send them over an HL7 (MLLP) connection. The builder includes a field-mapping editor with a live message preview, and message validation stops invalid builds before send. Send steps continue only after an accepted acknowledgment. To reach a private network receiver, your team must first allow that receiver’s network range before using the connection.
Smaller improvements
- New self-service organizations can now accept Terms of Service during onboarding, and admins can review acceptance records later in Settings.
- Plan settings now show invoiced organizations more clearly when self-serve billing is not available.
